I remember on day 3 I was shaking and struggled holding a plank position and thinking in this very move, “WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING OF DOING THIS PROGRAM!!! This is hard and I will never finish!” Here I am just a day away from completing the program! I have come so far. I don’t struggle like I used to holding a plank. I actually look forward to my workouts. I love sharing about it and helping others start this amazing journey. I have gotten so much stronger mentally and physically. My body has changed for the better and I am doing this. Real change can happen in just a few months time when you are consistent.

How I save my hands from getting calluses when I’m lifting heavy! And yes I know I could get weight lifting gloves but I haven’t yet and I can’t find my old ones that I used in college when I played cymbals on the drum line (yep we used weightlifting gloves to protect our hands from the metal!) Try to keep the label on the handles. Just cut off the little flap area and BAM! No calluses. And keep kids away because they will try to take the label off! 
Make sure you have a strong grip on your weights no matter what. And if you can’t get a good grip on them with the label on go invest in gloves and cut the label off all the way. No injuries please. No actual skulls getting crushed while doing skull crushers.

Know and saying I’m ONLY 3 days away from completing an advanced long program is soooo exciting! I have never ever done this before! I’m not taking it easy and just going through the motions to get it done. I’m still pushing myself in every workout. I’m even enjoying my workouts. Yes. I still have times where excuses pop in my head (like this morning) and try to get me to put off my workout but I feel so much better after my workout. I shut those excuses down. not because working out is my job or because people are relying on me to do it, but because I actually love the way I feel when I exercise. My body just feels better. 
I get asked all the time “how do you stay so motivated?” My answer. Find a program that excites you. Find exercise that you enjoy. And make it a priority in your life! 
You get to choose everyday if you are going to workout or not. You have that choice. Everyone does, celebrities, politicians, stay at home moms, CEO’s, and you has the same choice in the morning. It doesn’t make anyone more special or above average when they workout it just means that they chose to do it. And that’s it. So you have that choice right now. Make your exercise a priority. And find something you like. 
I love 80 day Obsession because every single workout is different. No 2 workouts are the same. It keeps it exciting for me. It makes me have FOMO of missing some silly joke or some important form tip. I feel like the whole cast and I would be best friends. Because they are going through this hard thing with me and we are doing it together.

What I’ve been reading/listening to! You guys if you haven’t picked up this book GO RUN TO THE BOOKSTORE NOW or Amazon or Audible! So great that I have barely been able to stop listening to it. I turn this on first thing in the morning during my daily 20 minute reading time or when I’m getting ready for the day, taking a shower, making dinner. Really anytime I need to take a minute to decompress! 
She is so down to earth real and relatable it’s inspiring. I firmly believe in reading or listening to something daily that lifts you up and helps set your mind in a positive place for the day. Some people call it self help. Some call it personal development. I’m calling it  another form of momma sanity saver!
